The night before goaltender Philippe Lepage was flown in from Luxembourg and he was the starting netminder. Alltghough being outshot 13 against 2 Luxembourg carried an 0-0 score into the first intermission. Then in the second period the team form the Grand-Duchy came up strong. Ben Houdremont scored a powerplay goal at 21.15. He received the puck when it richocheted form the side of the iron into the slot, just on his stick. Just after a powerplay sniper David Kraus upped the score to 0-2 (27.41), when he managed to slide the puck unther the goalie into the corner.

Luxembourg at the 2007 World Championship Division III
Hier ein paar News über unsere Weltmeisterschaft des nächsten Jahres:
Sie wird vom 15-21 April 2007 in Irland ausgetragen. Austragungsort ist Dundalk, wo im Dezember eine neue, etwa 1000 Zuschauer fassende, Eispiste eröffnet wird. Luxemburg hat sich ebenfalls um die Austragung der WM Division 3 beworben, hat aber bei der Abstimmung um 8 Punkte der irischen Bewerbung unterlegen.
