A dependable defenseman, who also is a writer and artist (autodidact). Born in Switzerland from German parents - his father was a reknowned conductor and his mother a singer- he lives in Luxembourg since 1965. And adopted the Luxembourg nationality in 2001. Dresses for the Luxembourg National team since 2002. Is the oldest player ever to have participated in an IIHF World Championship. Still going strong defending the colours of Tornado Luxembourg.
