IHC Beaufort 1 Crushes IHC Beaufort 2, 16-2

On November 19th the IHC Beaufort 1 hosted the IHC Beaufort 2 in the Patinoire de Beaufort, where the first team turned it up a notch and pounded the IHC Beaufort 2, 16-2. It was the first Alter Domus Cup game of the year played in the north of the country.
The first period was in the hands of the first team. Robert Beran scored the first goal of the game for the hosts at 6:00 on a feed from Ben Houdremont. The hosts continued their run, as Benny Welter scored the 2-0 on an assist by Ben Houdremont and Nicolas Mossong. Robert Beran put another goal on the sheet for the hosts at 16:35 on an assist by Benny Welter. The hosts continued their run, as Benny Welter scored the 4-0 on an assist by Ben Houdremont. At the end of the first, the score was 4-0 for the benefit of the home team.
The home team didn't give up on the lead and kept dominating the game throughout the second period. Eric Wambach scored the 5th goal for his team after being assisted by Thierry Beran. The hosts kept their pace and Ben Houdremont scored only 49 seconds later. Only 2 minutes later, Benny Welter added another goal to the sheet. Ben Houdremont scored another goal for the hosts at 27:05. Thierry Beran added another goal only 3 minutes later. Another goal came at 34:20, when Eric Wambach scored for the hosts. Benny Welter put another goal on the sheet for the hosts at 39:10. At the end of the second, the score was 11-0.
The home team held on to their lead and kept control of the game throughout the third and last period. Only 3 minutes later, Benny Welter scored another goal. Thierry Beran added another goal only 2 minutes later. Just 2 minutes later, it was Mirko Mosr who found the back of the net for the IHC Beaufort 2. The IHC Beaufort 1 responded only 2 minutes later, as Eric Wambach scored a goal. Another goal followed shortly after, as Ben Houdremont scored the 15th goal for his team. The hosts kept the momentum on their side, as Thierry Beran scored only 2 minutes later. Josy Mulbach scored a goal for the IHC Beaufort 2 at 58:00. The score was 16-2 at the end of the final period.
Best scorer of the game was Benny Welter of the IHC Beaufort 1 with 8 points. The IHC Beaufort 1 will play their next game on November 25th against the Eifel-Mosel Bären, whereas the IHC Beaufort 2 meet with the Puckers Luxembourg on November 24th.
