Such a game and such an ambiance there was in Kockelscheuer on Saturday evening. Tornado fought back
to turn the game around after being 0-2 behind and took a very important 4-2 win against Reims.

First period was pretty equal. In 5-5 game it was hard to say which team was taking more control. After some unlucky penalties and unlucky mistakes, Reims managed to take 2-0 lead.

During the break coach Fical cheered up the team and convinced that everything is still possible. On the
second period spectators could see a new hard working and committed Tornado. Colm Cannon took his role as a one of the key players and scored a 1-2 goal after aggressive rush on the net. Not too long after that Mikael Äijälä, 17 years old wonder kid, released the birthday hero Lukas Föhr to semi-breakaway and Lukas’ accurate wrist shot found its way to the top corner.

In the end of the period Tornado had 2 men power play and Colm Cannon scored a beautiful tic tac toe goal after being assisted by Ossi Uotila and Sebastian Grein.

On the third period Reims got lot of chances on power play but Gilles Mangen, stood on his head and made a bunch of world class saves and didn’t let Reims to tie the game. As Reims was unsuccessful, Tornado wasn’t. Sebastian Grein took a wrist shot from the blue line and the puck found its way to the net after hitting the post. It’s obvious that the goal tasted good for Sebastian as his family had become to watch the came from Sweden.

In the end of the game Reims had lot of chances to score but the man of the match, Gilles Mangen, with
the help of amazing spectators, took care that it wouldn’t happen.

It was awesome to hear “Tornado, Tornado” and “Mangen, Mangen” cheering in the end of the game.

What a game, what an amazing team and what an amazing crowd, we love you all! Let’s see again next Saturday!
